Absence for the existence

For some people, absence tells more than existence.

It's hard for us to recognize what we have right now, but when they are gone, the existence is seen to us so good, or so bad. It seems like the existence is explained by its absence.

Suppose the nature(or God whatever you can't blame) takes the air from us, and then give it back right after a minute. Then you will notice how precious the air was, and where we lived was heaven. Suppose a man broke up with his girl friend. If he felt so bad, he might have never recognized her existence before loosing her. If you saw the existence of her, or knew how precious the existence of her is, you might not regret. It seems like to regret is for the people who never recognized the existence at the moment.

I like the lesson from Saints and religion, "in everything give thanks", "live the moment". It seems that it's saying "See what you have right now", "See the existence without absence".

In this era, people encourage to take more than we have. And we are not afford to thank what we have because when we take, we have to plan to take another.

I think, however, we are on right track. We are going through the absence of  "see the existence without absence". History tells us absence and existence have happened by turn. Peace has been rising by turn with the absence of war. How desperately do people in war hope the piece? Current generation doesn't know the meaning of piece because it already is around us. For now, however, they long for the strong, and enjoy suppressing people who are weaker than them. I am so scared that maybe it's our turn to learn peace from the absence of it.
