You will be better if you don't try to be better

I've never seen a good band like this for long time(not that long actually).
Red recommended me this band last week. I told him this band is great. I thought they really were. Then what he said shocks me. "doing music is pretty easy for them huh?" That was it, they were doing what they want, and what they can. Yesterday, I regretted myself. I always trained myself to be better. But what is better? Why do I need to be better?
